The municipal district of Las Galeras in the Dominican Republic is famous for its beautiful beaches.  Visitors come here to play and enjoy the natural wonders of this vacation playground. But for the children of this district, life here is more about basic necessities.  In October 2014, the ProJecto team stopped in Las Galeras where we distributed new clothes, including school uniforms, and shoes to 30 youngsters.  It was our way of providing them with a small piece of paradise.
