In September 2025, Team ProJecto set out on a mission to assist five municipal fire departments in the Dominican Republic.  Along with Embarque Colonial, our logistics partner, we visited Hato Mayor, Santo Domingo Oeste, Sabana del Mar, Villa Gonzalez and Villa Trina.  At each stop the fire department received a portion of 100 sets of protective bunker gear donated by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and our own firefighter volunteers furnished search and rescue training to the crews in each station.  We are blessed beyond measure to serve those in need, and we give thanks to Metro-Dade Firefighters Local 1403 for their financial assistance to make this journey possible.  And of course, Glory to Jesus for making all we do a reality.
