In December 2010, ProJecto visited Recate Ambar, a non-profit ambulance service in the coastal city of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We presented the volunteer ambulance attendants with cervical collars, latex gloves and a LivePak monitor; basic ambulance supplies not available to most Dominican medical transport services.
