In June 2014 we journeyed to Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, in conjunction with Southern California based Firefighters For Christ, the organization founded by retired Los Angeles Fire Captain John White more than three decades ago. Last year, ProJecto assisted John’s worthy ministry with the delivery of a new fire truck to the city of Carrefour. ProJecto and FFC returned to Carrefour this year with a supply of bunker gear, the protective clothing worn by firefighters. The gear was donated by the South Trail Fire Protection and Rescue Service District of Lee County, on Florida’s west coast. Once again, we extend our sincerest thanks to ProJecto’s corporate partner, Fire-Tec, the fire service training specialists, for sharing their resources. Fire-Tec’s commitment to ProJecto’s growth serves as an inspiration to carry out our initiatives.
