As 2016 draws to a close, ProJecto’s outreach has expanded once again. Thanks to our friends at Fire Tec, the Fire Service Training Specialists, we have arranged for a donation of bunker gear to volunteer firefighters in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Guayaquil is the largest and most populous city in Ecuador, and while it boasts a growing economy, its nearly 3 million residents are protected by a fire service that remains poorly equipped. With this donation, these firefighting heroes will be better protected as they serve the residents of this Pacific Coast metropolis.
